About Ed Hollett
Edward Hollett is Registrar of the Newfoundland and Labrador Dental Board and Treasurer of the Canadian Dental Regulatory Authorities Federation. The Newfoundland and Labrador Dental Board sets standards for dentists, dental assistants, and dental technicians so that the people of Newfoundland and Labrador can have every confidence in the oral health care. Before his appointment as Registrar, Edward advised local, national, and international clients in health care, energy, defence, fisheries, agriculture, and manufacturing as a public policy and public relations consultant for 30 years. From 1989 to 1996, Edward served as special assistant to Premier Clyde Wells. Edward studied political science, history and policy development at Memorial University and as a civilian graduate student at the Royal Military College of Canada, Kingston. His byline has appeared in local and national print media and academic journals and he is a frequent commentator on local and national public affairs.
