Endodontics With the End at Mind
About this Seminar
Since the goal of endodontics is to treat and/or prevent apical periodontitis, this presentation will discuss how microbes causes apical periodontitis and how to establish microbial control during treatment that is essential to achieve success for your treatment outcome. We will also be discussing whether the tooth is worth restoring and or saving and if we do decide to endodontically treat a tooth and we should discuss the factors of treating the tooth. We will be discussing and understand the complexity of the anatomy of the tooth and to understand if our modern-day instruments really clean the canals and biologically fill the canals to prevent microbial reinfection.
