Look, Listen and Feel A Mind, Body, Mouth Approach to Assessments

About this Seminar

As primary health care providers, dental professionals are expected to play a more integral role in their patients overall health. How do you interact with your patients to integrate systemic health into their oral health care appointments?

You navigate their individual needs by using your senses!

Look, Listen and Feel will support a holistic approach to your ADPIE plan (Assess, Diagnose, Plan, Implement, Evaluate). It is intended to make the transition to discussing oral-systemic health with your patients more palatable.

Course objectives:

-To Introduce your clients to the importance of a comprehensive health history for assessing and diagnosing treatment plans.
-Obtain better acceptance and treatment outcomes by including components of wellness and lifestyle-such as sleep, diet, exercise and stress to your plan.
-Elevate your assessment and treatment plans by exploring different diagnostic and therapeutic instruments, tools and products.
-Explain why re-evaluations are necessary, as the continuum of care is dynamic and fluctuates over time.
